Social Media Content Privacy Policy

Our practices in terms of privacy, i.e. publicly available contents obtained from the Internet through the WeLink services ("Service") are defined under Social Media Content Policy. This Privacy Policy includes additional information on our collection, usage and disclosure of information gathered from customers and users of our Service and our website.

Description of the Service

The Service provides a proprietary platform and online tools, allowing our customers to:
(i) monitor, access, store and manage social media contents ("Contents") connected with their brand, products and services, activities, as well as their industry; and
(ii) analyze the Contents and identify trends, sentiment, mood and volume.

We display to our customers certain metrics related to personal posts on applicable social media websites and the persons associated with the applicable Contents to the extent to which this information is publicly available and/or available via API from the relevant website operators as part of the Service. Examples of metrics applicable to any particular post include the number of comments, number of unique commentators, number of likes (or similar action), as well as the number of followers.

These and other metrics provide for better analysis of the Contents by our customers. In addition, our Service contains key tools that enable you to analyze Content, such as contents categorization and its displaying through different graphs and representations, as well as its supplementation with other data and insights. Sometimes, we use third parties to provide additional analysis and data on the Contents. If there are historic data, our customers will also be able to analyze the Contents by using such data, providing a historical context thereof. Moreover, you are able, through the Service, to engage and communicate in either a public or a private dialogue with individuals posting contents. You are responsible as a sender of messages to individuals, and you must agree to comply with all applicable laws referring to sending of unsolicited e-mail or spam and any terms of service of the Website from which the individuals post was obtained. You can also store any such communications in the Service as stipulated in the Terms of Service.

How We Collect Contents

As part of our Service, we collect Contents from several Websites and social network-related Websites. Such Websites are publicly available and they can be found and accessed directly by using standard search engine technology and methods. Web crawler may be used for obtaining the Contents, by utilizing publicly available APIs, all in line with the applicable terms and protocols of the applicable Websites, including without limitation any robots.txt protocols. Our policy is to never avoid technical controls, such as usernames and passwords, for the purpose of obtaining contents, nor do we seek to thwart CAPTCHA technology (Completely Automated Public Turing Test To Tell Computers and Humans Apart). Moreover, we limit crawling to portions of Websites that are made public by the applicable Website operator.

Use of Contents

Your use of Contents is regulated by, and must be in line with our Terms of Service, the terms of service of the applicable Website from which the contents is obtained or derived, and applicable law. You are responsible only for your compliance with the above-mentioned, and we are not responsible for any failure on your part to do so.

If we hold contents about you, or you think we hold such contents, you may be legally entitled, upon written request, to access such Contents (subject to certain exceptions), and request for that information be corrected or deleted, as the case may be, if it is incomplete or inaccurate, or if we have obtained it by violating applicable law or website terms and conditions. In that case, to the extent known, we will notify you of the contents we store about you (susceptible to others' privacy interests or legal rights), the manner of its usage and any other information required under applicable law. We are obliged to correct and erase only the contents in our possession rather than any contents held by our customers or other third parties. Furthermore, as long as any contents continue to exist on the Internet, we will continue to access and utilize such contents in spite of any request for correction or deletion. Our obligation is limited to the extent required by applicable law or to terms and conditions to which we have agreed.
