Referral Program Terms and Conditions

1. Overview of the Referral Program

WeLink Communications, Inc. (“WeLink”) is offering  its existing customers in good standing on any WeLink internet service plan (“Existing Customer”) the opportunity to participate in an ongoing referral program (“Program”). This Program allows Existing Customers to refer new customers (“Invitee”) to sign up for a WeLink internet service account in our service areas in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Dallas, and Los Angeles areas, provided the area is deemed serviceable by WeLink (“Serviceable Areas”).

 Any Existing Customer who has received an invitation to the Program directly from WeLink through email (an “Referral Invite”) is eligible to refer someone. Both the Existing Customer and the Invitee are eligible to receive a referral reward (“Reward”), subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein and in the Referral Invite (collectively, the “Terms”). WeLink will also send Existing Customers an email to the email registered with the Existing Customer’s WeLink account setting out everything Existing Customer needs to know (unless such person asked us not to send them WeLink marketing emails). The Program will be available for a specific time frame, determined in the Referral Invite. This is the “Program Period.” 

2. Existing Customer Program Participation Eligibility

Participation in this Program is open to any Existing Customer who:

  • Is past their trial period, has a payment method on file, is in good standing for one month or more after the Invitee signs up for WeLink services (meaning that Existing Customer’s account is not restricted, suspended, or closed and you have not missed any payment when due to WeLink).
  • Shares their unique referral link with friends and neighbors eligible for WeLink internet service in the Serviceable Areas through text message, email, or social media.

3. Earning a Reward

To earn a Reward, the following conditions must be met:

  • For Existing Customers: Share your unique referral link. Only the first 10 Invitees who complete the necessary steps and successfully sign up for WeLink internet service through the unique link will earn a Reward for both the Existing Customer and the Invitee. Referrals beyond this limit will not qualify for Rewards even if the Invitee complets the relevant steps successfully.
  • For Invitees: Must use the Existing Customer’s unique referral link to contact WeLink and subsequently:
    • Sign a WeLink customer contract for the first time. Someone who has previously signed up for a WeLink internet service account will not earn any Reward for Existing Customer or Invitee.
    • Successfully install and receive WeLink internet service prior to the end of the Program Period. WeLink service is only available in certain areas and not every premises is serviceable by WeLink internet.
    • Pay for their first month’s service, following any free trial period.
    • Not be an Invitee in excess of the Existing Customer’s referral limit.

Rewards will not be granted to either the Existing Customer or Invitee  if the Invitee reverses any of these steps post-completion (e.g., terminates their WeLink contract during the free trial period or if their premises become ineligible for service).

4. Reward Details

The Reward will be issued in the form of a Reward link to Tango®.  Tango is a third party with whom WeLink has partnered to provide the Rewards. The specific amount and conditions of the Reward will be detailed in the Referral Invite.  Any Reward will only be paid if all the criteria in these Terms are met by both the Existing Customer and their Invitee during the Program Period. Rewards are also subject to Tango’s terms of service [https://www.tangocard.com/legal/terms-of-service]. The Reward Link typically does not expire, but selected rewards through Tango® may have expiration dates. Tango has helpful customer service that can help resolve many issues a recipient may encounter.

Tango will send you a Reward Link® to a Reward recipient through email to the email address on file with WeLink for such recipient. An Existing Customer or Invitee can use the Reward Link® to choose the form of reward they’d like to receive based on Tango’s options, which can include gift cards to a variety of brands. A Reward recipient can select a reward up to the total value of the Reward for such recipient. 

5. General Legal Information

  • Both the Existing Customer and Invitee must maintain their WeLink account in good standing throughout their participation in the Program to be eligible for Rewards.
  • WeLink reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time due to abuse, negative impact on WeLink’s reputation, or unforeseen circumstances. WeLink may suspend or end the Program on an individual or promotion-wide basis.
  • WeLink reserves  the right to reverse any Reward/s credited to a Reward recipient if WeLink becomes aware that the Reward recipient has breached the Terms. WeLink will consider the reversal of any Reward to have been done with the Reward recipient’s consent and the payment to have been authorized by such Reward recipient.
  • If WeLink believes that a Reward recipient has engaged in any fraud or material abuse of the Program, WeLink may also in our sole discretion take any actions we see fit in the circumstances. For example, it would be a material abuse of the Program to orchestrate a campaign to profiteer from the Program in a way that does not result in genuine and unique new sign-ups to WeLink, and so in addition to reversing any Reward/s we may also close a Reward recipient’s WeLink internet service account.
  • Participation in the Program may have tax implications for the Reward recipient. It is the recipient’s responsibility to report and pay any applicable taxes.
  • The Program is not open to WeLink employees, sales representatives, and their respective families.
  • Disputes arising under the Terms shall be governed by WeLink’s terms of use, including applicable law and arbitration provisions.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data collected during the Program will be handled in accordance with the WeLink Privacy Notice found here.

7. Program Organizer

This Program is organized by WeLink Communications, Inc. Complaints or inquiries about the Program should be directed to WeLink customer support.
